Was awakened at 2:15am by horrible wind, almost pulsing in sound. When I heard a loud crack of a tree breaking, I called Steve to check the weather for Tornado warnings. There were no clouds overhead, but I could see lightening flashes off in the distance and the wind didn’t stop. No warnings could be found, and I eventually went to sleep. It was still a little windy when I did wake up.
We were supposed to go to church this morning, but the wind disrupted everyones sleep, so it was just another lazy day. Smudge and Rico took off down the driveway to chase two Labrador type dogs off. A yellow and black, running down the back road with their tails between their legs!
Didn’t do much today, just reading, swimming and relaxing.
