Our final push… drove the rest of the way through Texas, Oklahoma and finally into Missouri. I’m not used to driving more the 350 miles daily. I plan on taking photos on the way home, lots of old buildings and neat stuff to see.
We found our exit with no problem and even our turn. We are on a narrow single lane dirt road, with lots of trees/brush. It reminds me of Mr. Toads wild ride. There is a fork in the road we weren’t told about, so I had to call for further directions. Once we found the driveway, Blue encountered a steep dirt road, but like the trooper he is, he powered on up to his “home” for the next two weeks. Our speed was between 65-70 (bad!) this leg.
Annelise was quite surprised with her puppy, and even more excited with the fact her cousin Jordan is along!! The puppy “Patches” is now named Buffy.
